Student Leadership Programs

Key Clubs: Key Club members around the world are learning how to lead and stand for what’s right through service and volunteerism. In partnership with their local Kiwanis club, high school students are making a positive impact as they serve others in their schools and communities.

Sac Suburban Kiwanis sponsors and advises four high school Key Clubs (at Mira Loma, Rio Americano, El Camino, and Rosemont high schools) whose purpose is teaching leadership, communication, and community service to students before their senior high school year.

K-Kids Club: K-Kids is the largest service organization for elementary school students, with more than 36,000 members worldwide. The first K-Kids was chartered in 2000. Today, there are more than 1,200 clubs worldwide.K-Kids is a student-led community service organization that operates under school regulations and draws its members from the student body.

Sac Suburban Kiwanis provides leadership and community service opportunities for pre-teen students at Cowan Fundamental Elementary School in Sacramento.
